Gerald L. Marcus – Senior Counsel
Since 1987, Gerald L. Marcus has dedicated his legal career to practicing the philosophy that all innocent injury victims are entitled to their fair share of compensation. This is the principle that governs his legal practice and under which his associates are trained. Mr. Marcus is committed to fighting aggressively to facilitate outcomes in favor of his clients.
After receiving an undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge, Mr. Marcus completed the four year legal program at Southern California Institute of Law at Venture College of Law a full six months early. During this period in his education, Gerald Marcus was working full-time as a private investigator for one of the largest personal injury firms in the San Fernando Valley. This experience, which lasted seven years, gave Mr. Marcus a passion for fighting for the rights of innocent injured victims but also the skills to approach and execute a case strategically and comprehensively.
Since receiving his license to practice in 1987, Gerald L. Marcus has managed to obtain $100,000,000 in settlements and verdicts for nearly 10,000 clients altogether. This great achievement earned Mr. Marcus membership to the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. Gerald L. Marcus is also an active member the American Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
Mr. Marcus uses a unique combination of creativity and experience to present a tough, thorough case on behalf of his clients. Bradley S. Wallace – Associate Counsel, Litigator
Since joining the team at The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus, Bradley S. Wallace has been a consistent vessel of trial and litigation skill. He believes in fighting for the protection of his clients' interest and obtaining positive results on their behalf. His approach is aggressive and comprehensive, regardless of the size or nature of the case.
Bradley Wallace received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University in 2002. He immediately began his graduate studies at California Western School of Law in San Diego, completing his Juris Doctorate degree in 2006. During his time at California Western School of Law, Wallace earned a spot on the Dean's Honors List and was selected a "Distinguished Advocate" by the Moot Court Honors Board. Mr. Wallace also served as a volunteer mediator at the Superior Court for the County of San Diego while studying law.
As a highly skilled trial and litigation attorney, Bradley S. Wallace has made personal injury his primary focus. He is dedicated to exhausting every resource that may lead to securing his clients' best interest, including litigation, mediation, depositions, binding arbitrations, and comprehensive legal research. For Wallace, no measure is not worth taking if it could mean his clients are better served in seeking their rightful compensation.
Bradley S. Wallace is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the American Bar Association, as well as the Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice to before all courts in the States of California and Nevada, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Scott E. White – Private Investigator CA License #23645, MBA
Scott E. White's diverse and impressive background has made him an invaluable asset to The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus. Since 2000, White has been in charge of investigations concerning every case handled by the firm. Along with the rest of the team at this firm, Scott believes that our continued success is dependent on overall client satisfaction. Open communication and client education are staples in Mr. White's work ethic and tend to have a positive impact on the overall satisfaction of the client.
Scott White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Pepperdine University, where he graduated with honors. He then went on to earn his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Graziadio School of Business and Management, also at Pepperdine University. In addition to his degrees, Scott has been certified in Dispute Resolution by the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School.
Scott's diverse background includes obtaining certification as an Arabic linguist after attending the Defense Language Institute at the Presidio of Monterey during his service in the US Army's Intelligence branch. As a linguist, Mr. White work for several years as a contractor for the National Security Agency, US Customs, FBI, DEA and various local law enforcements around the country. Upon his return to Southern California, Scott worked for some time in the insurance industry.
Scott is constantly striving to enhance his profession and himself through participation and membership in professional organizations such as the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) and the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI)
Luis Garcia – Field Investigator
If you are a new client, Luis is usually the first person you will meet upon hiring our firm. Since the nature of our field involves injured clients, by definition, we believe it is important to accommodate our clients by coming to them to begin the process of their case. When we begin working with a new client, Luis, who is also bilingual in Spanish, is the one who meets with clients wherever is most convenient for them, whether it is their home, business or even the hospital where they are recovering from their injuries.
Luis focuses on determining negligence, strengthening our case through obtaining witness testimonies, physical evidence, photographs, etc. Occasionally, Luis will work alongside Scott on their client's behalf to get the best possible settlement, especially in material damage claims.
Staff
Mayra Meza – Receptionist/Secretary
Upon calling our firm, you will most likely speak to Mayra, who will then direct your call to either one of our investigators or one of our support staff depending on your request. Mayra, who is bilingual in Spanish, has several years of experience working in personal injury with a focus on representing innocent injured victims. In addition to front office duties, Mayra also verifies insurance coverage and assists our clients in scheduling medical appointments for our clients. Mayra Meza is a valuable member of our team at The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus and we are glad to have her at our firm.
Cori Marcus – Office Administrator
Whether it is opening a file, verification of insurance or simply communicating with the parties involved in the case, Cori oversees all of the procedures involved in opening a new case. In addition to these responsibilities, Cori occasionally assists in day to day general office administration and management.
Linda Cohen Mose – Lead Transcriptionist
Our firm would not be the same without Linda, who is an important asset in preparing all settlement letters and negotiation packages, which are then sent to insurance companies and defense law firms. Linda, who has been with our firm for over five years, received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from California State University at Northridge.
Glen Neumann – Negotiator
As a veteran in adjusting insurance claims, Glen is an invaluable asset to our firm when it comes to making sure our clients receive every dollar they are legally and reasonably entitled to. His entrance to our team has allowed us to level our playing field when going up against some of the largest insurance companies to get our clients the compensation they deserve. Glen's experience in insurance claims gives him a keen insight into the industry which directly benefits our firm and ultimately our clients. Since joining our team in 2011, Glen has been responsible for negotiating over $300,000 in settlements for our clients' behalf. Rather than forcing the case into the long, grueling process of litigation, Glen has allowed us to negotiate fair compensation with insurance companies for our clients, directly contributes to client satisfaction and the overall success of our firm.
Lisa Howe – Paralegal/Legal Assistant
After ten years at The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus, Lisa Howe has established herself as a cornerstone of our litigation team. She is the main litigation secretary at our firm and is responsible for maintaining the litigation calendar on top of attending to various law and motion matters and actions. She works closely with our attorneys to coordinate and execute the firm's overall litigation strategy. Lisa directly participates in preparing client files of litigation matters, which include mediation, arbitration, and an actual trial. She is also an acting part of the conclusion of a case, when we are working towards and settlements and awards for our clients. Mr. Marcus has worked with Lisa to determine and maintain the office policies of procedure at The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus to ensure that we are in compliance with applicable human resource issues.
Mitchell Goujaon – Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Upon joining The Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus, Mitchell began his work with us by assisting in file organization, copy services, and other general clerk and administrative duties. Since then, Mitchell has grown into an operative legal assistant and paralegal and now functions in multiple ways to make us a better law firm. He is dedicated to helping our clients and applies hard work and diligence to whatever task he is assigned. He is a valuable asset in making sure computer and operating systems runs smoothly. As a paralegal, Mitchell works on the discovery stage of litigation cases and assists in legal filings all over California.
Matt Crayon – Case Manager
With over 13 years of insurance experience under his belt, Matt has become an important asset to our firm. Matt applies his knowledge of the insurance industry to his duties of overseeing, managing, and investigating certain aspects of our firm's cases. These duties involving case consultations with potential clients, liability negotiations and investigations of existing cases. Matt has also taken on a leadership role in the office and his hands on approach to ensuring the benefit of our clients and the firm has helped in our overall success.
Anna Crayon – Case Manager
As a former claims adjuster, Anna brings her skills and valued insight to the firm on a daily basis. Anna has improved our firm's dedication to client communication and overall satisfaction by going above and beyond her call of duty to explain the process and steps of the case from beginning to end. In addition to meeting our clients' needs, Anna also consults with potential new clients, investigates existing cases and works to obtain any evidence or testimony that may strengthen our case. The combination of Anna's personality and her experience in the insurance field directly benefits our clients and therefore our firm as a whole.
